Today I have been blessed by -
SUN!!
Getting caught up on sleep.
Just the thought of a possible walk to the Duck Pond.
My Smelly little boy.
Girls that ENJOY playing Basketball.
Planning a great Family Dinner - with a back-up plan.
Girl Scouts. Knowing that what they are learning will be great!
Buying Groceries - I like it when my Freezer and Pantry are Stocked.
Great Friendships!

I am grateful for the sun that is shining today. I am grateful for the fall weather that is coming.
AND I am grateful for the rain to come today and tomorrow. I am hoping it will wash out the nasty mud in the shed!!

Turning Over a New Leaf

As we get settled into this school year, I want to reflect on the summer and all that it had to offer. Look for updates every few days about how we spent our summer.

Today though, we are braving the storm. School is closed. Our backyard is flooded. Our neighbors are having to move to "higher ground". Luckily, we are on higher ground.

First Time Out -

Inspired by all that is out there - we thought we'd find a new way to keep in touch with family and friends.

Update Fall 08 - School is back in session!! Hannah is in fourth, Rebecca second, and PJ goes to Preschool in a week and a half. I am trying to get a handle on activities, the homework, and the afterschool schedule. I think I've earned another degree in systems analysis on that without even going to "school".

It looks good so far - we are wrapping up the traditional golf season, and ramping up the fall schedule. The commitment to choir will be coupled with dance and gymnastics. Hannah has chosen to compete this year in Gym and Rebecca will continue in Irish - I'll keep you posted.

Scout shows next weekend. He is such a dog!! I hope he does well. We hope to see him for one day of show. I'll be interested to see how he looks "groomed" since he is a bit hairy of late.
